A trained and dedicated staff

The trained and experienced staff at Villeneuve House share responsibility for the safety and well-being of our residents.

Excellent communications skills are a prerequisite for staff at our facility, as are certificates in Long Term Care, Rehabilitation, C.P.R., First Aid and Food Safe.
Responsibilities of our staff include:
  • Monitoring medical conditions and administering medications as prescribed;
  • Implementing cognitive programs;
  • Providing companionship and supervision;
  • Maintaining an exercise program for each resident;
  • Individualized personal care;
  • Assisting with activities of daily living;
  • Implementing recreation activities;
  • Developing motivational strategies;
  • Coordinating and facilitating outings and events.
